Better Together Foundation was born from the story of two immigrant women, Maruu Cruz from Guatemala and Yami Flores from Honduras, who overcame poverty, built successful businesses, and chose to give back to the community the abundance they had received.

Today, the foundation supports single mothers, women in the cleaning industry, and children in Central America through housing assistance, education, mentorship, and empowerment programs.

Mission

Our mission is to provide financial and educational support to single mothers, women working in the cleaning sector, and children in Central America. We aim to improve their quality of life, facilitate access to education, and open doors toward the dream of acquiring their first home.

Vision

Our vision is to become a social impact movement that inspires vulnerable women and families to believe in themselves, overcome economic barriers, and achieve their dreams.

Through every program, we seek to restore hope and create opportunities in the communities that need it most.

Story

Nereida Gutierrez

Nereida Gutierrez is a woman who has dedicated her life to cleaning homes and raising her children.

Her dream is to one day own her own home and be able to fund her children’s university education.

For the past two years, she has received training and guidance through our mentorship efforts and has participated consistently in our weekly classes.

Her commitment reflects the heart of Better Together Foundation: women with vision, courage, and determination who are ready to transform their lives and build a better future for their families.

Decent Housing

We provide support funds for down payments and access to safe housing, helping women take the first steps toward owning a home and creating stability for their families.

Education

We provide scholarships and distribute school supplies to help children continue their education and build a brighter future.

Strategic Mentorship

We offer training in entrepreneurship, finance, investment, and personal development, helping women gain the knowledge and confidence they need to grow personally and professionally.
